Time is rushing on!

I am sitting thinking about all the things I wish I could be home to do.  I have so much to prepare before going to the mountains for the wedding and then so much more to prepare for before boarding a plane next Tuesday.  I have food shopping to do for the mini reception we are having for the kids and my brother and his family.  We decided to cook instead of going out, much less expensive for the number of people.  A friend is providing me with all the veggies I need, just have to get the meat and all the other stuff to go with.  I wish I didn't have to work for the next two days, I really need to be at home. And then I work Monday and Tuesday, we leave Tuesday night!  Ugh!  Typing about it is making the anxiety rise so we'll find something else to discuss.

I was working on a sweater, Thereafter, a beautiful thing and I'm almost done, should have been trying it on because it doesn't fit quite right so a rip fest will happen when I return from my honeymoon.  I am determined to have the sweater, I love it!  I have completed a baby toy and started crocheting a baby blanket.  I'm still working on my version of  Spectra by Stephen West.  It will be going on the plain with me I think and I will be taking some alpaca yarn to make a cowl with as well.  I will have time to knit in the evenings so I will make good use of my time.

Went to the first home game for my dd's hs on Friday and it was a good game!  DD and the other colour guard did a wonderful job and the game was intense.  I spent the last 5 mins of the game on my feet yelling and cheering.  First game I've been to since oldest dd was in band.

Have a good afternoon!

Scarey Stuff

A patient of mine came in and we got to talking and her comments led me down a rabbit hole that I wished I hadn't gone down.  We as American's do not pay enough attention to what our government is doing behind our backs or behind closed doors.  I don't want to alarm people but you do need to be forewarned of what is going on and that Hilary Clinton was party to some of this going on and will further do damage to this country.

Did you know for instance that China owns part of the US now?  Yes indeed, a part of Arizona is now owned by the Chinese.  Our government got a loan from China and defaulted. So, the government gave China part of Arizona as payment.  American ranchers were thrown off their land and it was given to China.  The government didn't own the land, they just claimed they had the right to do it and China said since it was now Chinese land they wanted no American's on it.  People lost their homes and land because of it.

Here's another good one, we no longer own our nations parks.  Does that blow your mind?  Our illustrious former president Bill Clinton gave the UN control of all of our national parks.  Did you also know that if at any time the UN decided they don't want Americans in the parks they can kick us out and lock the gates and there is nothing you or anyone else can do about it?

The information is mind blowing and you can find out so much just by looking on the internet.

Mind blower #3-Did you know that we, as a country no longer have the rights to our natural waterways?  Yes, my mind was blown on that one too.  A "government run" BLM, Bureau of Land Management was a US run entity, and is now run by a British corporation.  That British corporation now owns all of our natural waterways and can tell us at any time that we cannot access that water if they so chose to do so.

The last thing I want to say is look into HAARP cell towers.  The information I found on these scared the crap out of me.  It all sounds so scifi but it really isn't.

We are not as safe as our government would have us believe.

Crazy Wonderful Coworkers

I figured I should introduce myself, I'm Florence, better known as Flo or FoFo (called such by my Daddy and my brothers).  I craft like crazy-knitting, crochet, needle point, cross stitch, card making, scrapbooking, jewelry/stitch markers, spinning and flower arranging for weddings.  My main focus the last few years has been knitting but I have started to want to do my other hobbies more lately.  I think when I get back from England/Scotland I'm going to try to balance my crafting and do a little bit of all of it.

I had another blog which I shut down and deleted.  I had let the world suck the joy out of me and after several months I've decided to give it a go again.  My blog is so named because I do have a crazy, wonderful and funny life.  I am starting life anew and I want to share my joy, love, creativeness, and the crazy things that go on/happen to me.

I am getting married in 9 days!!!!  Oh my gosh, it is really that close!!!  Add to it that my birthday is Tuesday and hilarity ensues.  My lovely coworkers and boss decided to take me to lunch for my birthday/wedding shower today since the boss is out of the office next week.  Normally he lets us choose where we want to eat for our birthday but, today they didn't let me choose.  Thought it was odd but, they know where I like to eat.  So we walk one block down to a little Mexican restaurant, me, I was totally clueless as to what they were up to.  They had the staff come sing to me and then the guy standing behind me smeared whip cream all over my face and up my nose!  If that weren't enough they brought me a "cake" that one of my coworkers made for me.  I am including a picture:

I mistakenly made a comment about liking the Ding Dong snack cakes and my boss and one of my coworkers ran with it.  They had so much fun!  I was mortified! To spite them I ate part of it.  LOL   But, it was a hoot.  One of the staff came up and asked for a picture of it when we were ready to leave.  They gave me money for a wedding gift so we will put it to good use after the wedding.  There are a few things that are needed in/for the house so....

Three days after the wedding we are heading to England and Scotland for our honeymoon.  So, pictures of the wedding and our honeymoon will have to wait until we get back.  There will be tons I am sure.

I will try to do a weekly post sometimes more, sometimes less depending on what is happening.  I hope you have a great weekend!
